1. Who we are
Trackpeel (“Trackpeel”, “we”, “us”) is a service operated by Websylvania S.R.L., a limited liability company (societate cu răspundere limitată) registered in Romania, Trade Register No. J26/1084/2014, Sole Registration Code (CUI) 33831774, registered office Str. Negoiului nr. 19, Târgu Mureș, Mureș, Romania. Contact: [email protected].
2. What Trackpeel does
Trackpeel is a web application that separates an audio or video file you upload into individual parts (for example vocals and instrumental, or vocals/drums/bass/other stems) using automated audio-processing models. We provide the service “as is” and do not guarantee any particular audio quality or separation result.
3. Payments and Merchant of Record
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy (“Lemon Squeezy”), which acts as the Merchant of Record for all sales. When you buy a plan or pass, you are purchasing from Lemon Squeezy, who then provides the product to you on our behalf. Lemon Squeezy handles billing, payment processing, and applicable taxes (including VAT). Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy’s buyer terms. We never receive or store your full payment-card details.
4. Plans, passes and access
We currently offer: a free preview (a short, time-limited separation, currently the first 30 seconds); a Day Pass (24 hours of full-length downloads, up to the published fair-use cap; the 24-hour period starts on your first download); and Starter and Pro subscriptions. Current prices, limits and features are shown at trackpeel.com/pricing and at checkout, and control over any description here. We may change prices or features prospectively; changes do not affect a pass or subscription period you have already paid for.
5. Your account
You may use the free preview without an account. Full downloads and subscriptions require an account (email sign-in or Google sign-in). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use Trackpeel (see the Privacy Policy for the data-protection age rule).
6. Your content and your responsibilities
You keep all rights you have in the files you upload. By uploading, you confirm that you own the file or otherwise have all rights and permissions needed to upload it and to create separated versions of it, and that doing so does not infringe anyone’s copyright or other rights. You agree to the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. You are solely responsible for how you use the stems you create.
7. Our content and licence to operate
You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process and transform your uploaded files only as needed to provide the service to you (for example, to run the separation and to deliver and store the results). We do not claim ownership of your content and do not sell it. Note: to reduce cost and processing time, identical files may produce results served from an internal content-addressed cache (see the Privacy Policy).
8. Acceptable use & prohibited content
You must not upload content you do not have the rights to, or use Trackpeel for any unlawful purpose, to infringe copyright, to abuse the free tier (including automated/bulk abuse), or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service. We use automated abuse and bot controls. We may suspend or terminate access, and remove content, if you breach these Terms.
9. Copyright complaints
We respond to copyright notices under our DMCA / Copyright Takedown process.
10. Refunds and cancellation
See the Refund & Cancellation Policy, including your EU right of withdrawal for digital content and the waiver that applies when you ask for immediate processing.
11. Service availability
We aim to keep Trackpeel available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features. Free-tier usage is subject to rate limits and a global daily capacity ceiling.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind (express or implied), including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement of your uploads. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Romanian or EU law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us (via Lemon Squeezy) in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights).
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your uploaded content or your breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update or modify these Terms at any time. The current version is always the one posted on this page, with a new “Last updated” date. For material changes we will give reasonable notice. Your continued use of Trackpeel after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Târgu Mureș, Romania, again without removing your right to bring proceedings where mandatory consumer law allows. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.
